Prosum in Los Angeles is seeking a hands-on IT Technician for a short-term contract to support ~700–800 users across multiple LA locations. Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support to end users in Los Angeles locations.
• Occasionally travel to other office sites once a week.
• Assist with hardware troubleshooting and new hire setups.
• Collaborate with IT team and report to IT Director.
• Handle quick onboarding and user support tasks as needed.

• Contract Duration: Approximately 30+ days, with potential to extend. Covering an employee on leave who may not return.
• Pay Rate: $26–$29.50/hr (limited flexibility above this range)
• Start Date: ASAP

Must-Have Requirements

• Strong Microsoft Office expertise. Hardware Troubleshooting and a lot of new hire set ups
• Excellent communication skills; confident picking up the phone and working directly with users. Only seeking candidates with superior communication skills.
• Reliable transportation. Technician may need to visit other nearby offices (see map below) once a week to other locations. Mostly the role is onsite
• Ideally lives near Hollywood. Since it's a short term to possibly longer term, I'd prefer someone out of work, can start ASAP, and lives near by.
• Able to pass a background check and start ASAP.
• Quick learner with a willingness to jump in and take initiative.

Preferred Experience

• Trellix or similar endpoint security tools.
• Supporting approximately 700–800 users across 8 LA LGBT Center locations.
• IT team consists of 3 people, reporting to the Director of IT.
• Team handles infrastructure, security, hardware/software troubleshooting, and help desk support.
• Most support is handled from one primary location, but technicians occasionally travel to other sites for onsite issues.
• Additional project-based work comes up periodically and may sometimes be outsourced.
