Talent Harbor in Burbank, CA is hiring an IT Field Technician for hands-on on-site client work with remote office support. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems for clients across healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.

The role mixes field and office tasks, follows established processes, and offers a clear growth path as the current technician moves into the security team. Must live within commuting distance of Burbank.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of MSP/MSSP experience.
• Foundational knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory.
• Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls, switches, wireless).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record; company vehicle provided.
• Ability to lift about 50 lbs and work on-site with clients.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain IT equipment at client sites, including workstations, servers, printers, switches, firewalls and wireless.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues on site and remotely.
• Support Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and Active Directory users.
• Assist with networking, backup/DR and cybersecurity tasks, including CMMC.
• Log time and work tickets in ConnectWise, following the SLA process.
• Travel to out-of-town clients for projects when needed; travel paid with per diem.

Pay: $25 to $27/hour (W-2, overtime eligible) + Annual Bonus + Benefits

About the Opportunity

We're partnering with an established managed IT and cybersecurity provider (MSP/MSSP) in Burbank, California, to hire an IT Field Technician for its growing team.

This is a hands-on role that combines on-site client work with remote support from the office. You'll install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems for clients across industries like healthcare, manufacturing, and professional services.

The ideal candidate enjoys a mix of field and office work, follows the process, and takes pride in being the face of the company with clients. The role has a clear growth path: the current technician is moving up into the security team.

What You'll Do
