Base pay range

$22.00/hr - $25.00/hr

Job Type: Full-time; In Office

Pay: From $22 - $25 per hour based on experience

We’re looking for an IT help desk technician to serve as the initial point of contact for users of all IT supported systems, software, and services within our organization. The technician will provide in-house and remote end-user technical support for desktop hardware, software, printers, scanners, phones, and related technology.

Responsibilities

• Handle Tier 1 technical support via tickets in Zendesk or phone calls
• Follow up on outstanding requests and ensure timely resolution
• Assist remote users with internet, connectivity, desktop, and printer issues
• Create accounts and configure hardware during onboarding
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Experience with Windows 10/11, Google Collaboration Apps, Chrome, and MS Office
• 1-2 years in a technical help desk or desktop support role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills and ability to troubleshoot for non-technical customers
• Experience with ticketing systems and remote-control software
• Knowledge of IT tools such as Active Directory, GPO
• Experience installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining diverse IT hardware, including laptops, printers, scanners, peripherals, and mobile devices (iOS, Android)
• Basic networking support including TCP/IP, WiFi
• Understanding of server/domain environments
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• 2 years of experience in a Windows environment
• Availability for after-hours/weekend support for scheduled projects
• CompTIA A+ certification preferred
