Job summary

Notre Dame Academy in Hingham, MA, is seeking an IT Help Desk Support to provide on-site, phone, and remote technical assistance for students and staff. The role reports to the Director of Technology and Infrastructure in a busy education environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of desktop and peripheral support in a networked environment.
• Experience supporting Windows WAN/LAN and Microsoft Office.
• Two or more years of Help Desk or Customer Support over the phone.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or IT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware, peripheral hardware, software, internet and network issues.
• Provide on-site, remote, and Help Desk support as first responder.
• Set up A/V equipment for meetings and events.
• Document requests and update work orders in the tracking system.
• Configure and deploy new or upgraded hardware, software, and network gear.
• Create and maintain user accounts and permissions (Active Directory).
• Support information security practices for end-user tech.
• Coordinate with external vendors for installs/repairs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
