Job summary

Rockford IT Help Desk Internship in Grand Rapids offers hands-on experience supporting onboarding and offboarding, deploying laptops and devices, and provisioning user accounts across SaaS apps. You will maintain hardware inventories and document workflows for improvements, while assisting the Help Desk team with end-user tickets.

Reports to the IT Operations Manager. As a junior or senior IT student, you will develop practical skills in a collaborative, real-work environment and gain exposure

Qualifications

• Pursuing an Information Technology degree with junior/senior status.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair knowledge of computers preferred.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
• Eagerness to learn and professional drive.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality and dependability.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist onboarding and offboarding processes for team members.
• Prepare and deploy laptops, iPads and mobile devices.
• Provision user accounts and access across SaaS applications.
• Maintain accurate hardware inventory records.
• Document existing workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
• Respond to and resolve end-user support tickets as needed.
