The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County is seeking an IS Advisor 1 - Technology Finance to oversee non-salary operating budgets, capital project funding, and IT-related contracts for the Metro Nashville Police Department. The role requires strong financial analysis, procurement oversight, and collaboration with program managers within a 24/7 operation.

Ideal candidates will have five years of IT, data processing, and finance experience, with additional IT-related education

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of IT and data processing operations, procurement and finance applications experience.
• Additional IT-related degree may substitute for some experience (1:1).
• Valid Driver's License.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Power Platform

Responsabilités

• Manage all Police IT related general fund non-salary expenses/budgets, grant funds, capital funds, and operating capital funds.
• Manage Metro contracts for IT goods.
• Procure subscriptions, maintenance and repair services for the Police IT Division.
• Prepare concise management reports to ensure internal controls and up-to-date summaries of technology funding balances and expenditures.
• Work with program managers on funding, expenses, and procurement matters and provide resolutions and recommendations.
• Attend off-site meetings, trainings, or conferences related to budget and finance planning, compliance, and operations.
• Perform on-call support duties to support Police IT's 24x7 operations.
