Job summary

Ensign Services, Inc. is seeking an energetic IT Field Resource to support facilities through a mix of remote ticket resolution and onsite troubleshooting. This role requires extensive travel (75%+) to Northern California market facilities, with preferred residence near Vallejo, Sonoma, or Santa Rosa, CA.

The position supports hospital-like environments and critical infrastructure. You will be the IT partner to clinical and administrative teams, coordinate deployments, work with vendors, and

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in CS or IT, or equivalent hands-on IT field support experience.
• 5+ years supporting 100+ users across multiple locations.
• Proven troubleshooting methodology and familiarity with Windows, Office 365, and printer/scanner setup.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, AD, Citrix, and security practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; customer-focused.
• Willingness to travel 75%+ and work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Zendesk and ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as IT partner to Facility Administration, Nursing teams, and Service Center members, ensuring tools and support for resident care.
• Coordinate deployment, service, and ordering of IT equipment for reliable daily operations.
• Install and support networking and telecommunications equipment in facilities.
• Guide facilities through warranty requests and equipment returns.
• Collaborate with Field Operations and vendors to share knowledge and achieve goals.
• Manage mobile devices through MDM to keep teams connected and secure.
• Respond to Zendesk tickets and prepare equipment quotes with a service-first approach.
• Maintain accurate information in the ServiceNow directory for access and continuity.
