Job summary

Rysun Labs Inc is seeking a hands-on IT Field Support / Deployment Technician to lead on-site deployments across the United States. You will install and configure Apple Mac mini devices, displays, and peripherals, verify network connectivity, and ensure showroom readiness before handoff.

The role demands multi-state travel, strong communication, and problem-solving skills to support field deployments and collaborate with centralized IT teams when needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT field support, network technician, desktop deployment, or infrastructure support.
• Strong practical knowledge of Ethernet, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN connectivity, and basic network troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting Apple Mac/macOS hardware.
• Experience with display connectivity (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB-C) and peripheral configuration.
• Ability to isolate hardware, cabling, network, configuration, and upstream infrastructure issues.
• Ability to execute onsite installations using documented procedures.

Responsibilities

• Remove and disconnect existing showroom PCs and related equipment.
• Install and configure Apple Mac mini devices and displays.
• Connect Macs to wired/wireless networks and validate connectivity.
• Configure and test large-format displays and showrooms screens, including video output and resolution.
• Install peripherals: printers, Bluetooth devices, USB devices, keyboards, mice, etc.
• Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, cabling, display, and device connectivity.
• Coordinate with centralized IT/network teams for escalations.
• Test installations and document equipment, connectivity, issues, and actions.
• Provide basic onsite support during initial rollout and stabilization.
