Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking technicians in Bowling Green, OH, to install network equipment, switches, cabling, and IT gear. The role involves on-site hardware setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable connectivity.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot and support all IT connected devices
• Remediate Security vulnerabilities and perform/request appropriate action from respective items/teams
• Collaborate with Operations across multiple groups to meet current and future continuous improvement project goals
• Ability to assist with deploying/troubleshooting networking solutions on premise, cloud, or hybrid.
• Provide Technical support and on-site troubleshooting/repair for customers
• Responding to phone calls and texts after hours and on weekends within a timely manner
• Experience and Skills in documenting all work performed daily to build complete customer work history

Description

We need technicians with experience installing network equipment, switches, IT gear, patch panels and cabling. The general role of a Technician is to install, maintain, and troubleshoot. This includes routers, switches, and cabling. The Technician ensures reliable connectivity by performing routine maintenance, testing equipment, and resolving connectivity issues to keep network systems running efficiently. This individual will receive guidance from leadership and should be responsive to customer questions or concerns and address any issues in a timely manner.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Bowling Green, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
