Job summary

The Virginia Department of Health seeks an IT Services Support Specialist to deliver end-user support and manage access requests across the Roanoke City/Alleghany Health District. The role requires frequent travel to district locations, valid driver's license, and reliable transportation to support multiple sites, including Roanoke City, Salem, Vinton, and neighboring counties.

Responsibilities

• Provide end user IT support via multiple channels (phone, in-person, email, ITSM).
• Troubleshoot and escalate IT issues to resolve problems.
• Support Microsoft desktop products (Windows, SharePoint, MS Office, Gmail).
• Liaise between users and development teams for agency applications.
