Job summary

Vertafore in Denver, CO is seeking an IT Engineer to support our global IT team as the first point of contact for escalated user issues. You will troubleshoot Windows and Mac devices, Office365, AD, VPN, MFA, and security tools, delivering clear solutions to end users.

Remote support and process improvements are expected to enhance service delivery and user experience in a 24x5 support model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–3.5 years of experience as Service Desk Engineer or higher.
• Experience supporting tier 1/2 requests in a 24/7/365 routine.

Responsibilities

• Support Vertafore’s global employees including US and India in a 24x5 model.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and procedural issues.
• Install, troubleshoot and support Windows and Mac operating systems and laptops, Microsoft Office365, Active Directory, group policies, user access management, antivirus, VPN, Bitlocker or PGP encryption, and MFA.
• Provide remote IT support using best practices and ServiceNow or other ticketing tools.
• Assist in managing IT assets inventory, software compliance and audits.
• Support patch management for end user computing.
