Job summary

Right at Home Hilton Head/Savannah seeks a Director of Information Technology to own technology across 23 offices, manage licenses, security, and vendors, and partner with corporate IT and providers. You will lead cost-cutting, tool rationalization, and automation initiatives while guiding a growing tech stack and staff.

The role reports to the COO, operates in a mid-sized 85-employee environment, and offers broad ownership, with on-site work in Birmingham, AL, and travel to multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
• Experience administering multiple SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on hardware setup, troubleshooting, and remote support for PC and Mac.
• Experience evaluating vendors, negotiating renewals, and managing licenses and budgets.
• Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements as they apply to technology.
• Phone system or VoIP experience, healthcare or multi-site experience a plus.
• Available for urgent outages outside normal business hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage all office technology from purchase through disposal by office and user.
• Administer software platforms including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, WellSky, Slack, Zoho, Podium, Lucid, Scribe, and AI tools.
• Be the single point of contact for how our systems connect, and our point person with RAH Corporate on WellSky and Zoho.
• Own all licenses, seat counts, and renewal dates; audit to avoid unused seats or overlapping tools.
• Lead the move to a new phone and texting platform, including migration, number porting, and staff training.
• Identify and build automations to reduce manual work and evaluate emerging tools.
• Triage PC and Mac problems, including remote support, and manage outside IT providers.
• Prepare devices and accounts before each new hire; revoke access when someone leaves.
• Run core IT security and data protection: passwords, MFA, access controls, phishing awareness, backups.
• Document configurations, admin credentials, vendor contacts, and procedures, and train staff on new tools.
• Support fleet administration in Fleetio and Fuelman; coordinate office supply ordering; assist with scheduling pre-approved social content in Sochi.
