Job summary

BetterHealth is seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead IT strategy, infrastructure, security, and end-user support from a remote location. You will collaborate with senior leadership to align IT with organizational goals and drive modernization, automation, and governance across cloud services and on-premises systems.

The role requires 8+ years in IT with 3+ years in a director position, strong vendor management, and experience with HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or director-level role.
• Experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure and internal support operations.
• Experience leading cloud-based environments including Microsoft 365 and AWS.
• Experience in regulated healthcare environments and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure and integrations.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security across systems.
• Oversee enterprise cloud platforms like Microsoft 365 and AWS for secure, cost-effective operations.
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, and cost efficiency.
• Lead provisioning and lifecycle management of hardware, software, and access.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Lead, mentor, and develop IT staff and foster accountability and service excellence.
• Partner with Compliance for audits, risk management, and cybersecurity initiatives.
