Job summary

IB Abel is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to lead IT strategy, governance and operations for a multi-site electrical contractor. You will drive cybersecurity, risk management, infrastructure, and service delivery while aligning technology with business goals.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and a track record of delivering secure, scalable systems. Travel to other offices and sites is required with flexible work arrangements as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, CS or related field.
• 5+ years in IT operations, infrastructure or technology leadership.
• Experience leading IT projects and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company IT strategy and capacity plans.
• Oversee infrastructure, networks, hardware, software and cloud services.
• Lead cybersecurity, risk management and compliance initiatives.
• Manage technical support, service delivery and project implementations.
• Direct IT team development and cross-department training.
