Job summary

InnoSource in Orlando, Florida is seeking a full-time desktop support technician to assist fellow employees with hardware, software, and network issues. The role offers regular day shift hours, comprehensive benefits, and a chance to work with a Fortune 100 award-winning company.

You will troubleshoot hardware, OS, and connectivity, assist with OneDrive migrations, and support Mac and Windows environments. A high school diploma or GED is required, with Monday to Friday daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop hardware/software support is desirable.
• Comfortable working with mixed Windows/Mac environments.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot consumer replaceable hardware, BIOS, Driver, OS, FedEx Software.
• Perform OneDrive setup and migrations and handle cloud sharing.
• Assist with data recovery and troubleshooting encryption/password issues.
• Troubleshoot MacOS updates, encryption, and Office for Mac 2016.
• Handle network troubleshooting and connectivity verifications.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot consumer replaceable hardware, BIOS, Driver, OS, FedEx Software

• OneDrive Setup and migrations w/ OneNote Cloud Sharing
• Attempt Data Recovery on failed systems
• Troubleshoot Encryption issues
• Troubleshoot Password issues
• MacOS troubleshooting, applying OS updates, encryption, and Office for Mac 2016 foremployees using iPlanet and O365
• Mac LAN / WAN connectivity troubleshootingNetwork Troubleshooting task
• Diagnose cabling issues
• Network port connectivity verifications
• Networking component swapouts (Router, Switch, WAP)

Required Skills & Knowledge

Ability to become familiar with FedEx approved hardware

Ability to utilize TACACS to view switch information

• Ability to utilize NetDB to perform port assignments
• Customer Communication Skills
• Ability to maintain composure with challenging customers
• Able to direct customers to correct support groups
• Time and resource management

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Daytime schedule (7:30 AM to 4:30 PM)
  • Monday through Friday
