Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking an IT Co-op student to support computer users and develop IT solutions. This position is part of the Information Technology Systems department and interfaces with internal and external end users to support end-user computing needs.

Qualifications

• Attend full-time at Michigan Tech, Ferris State, Grand Valley State.
• Junior or senior working on BS degree in computer-related field.
• Minimum GPA 3.0 required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist with help desk tasks: end-user support for hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and network.
• Assist with building and deploying computers: setup and data-clearing tasks.
• Assist with network documentation: label taps and create drawings.
• Document issues and fixes.
• Inventory and document IT equipment.
• Lift and transport equipment.
• Clean workstations of malware.
• Perform other related duties as required.
