Job summary

PCC Airfoils – SMP in Wickliffe, OH is seeking an IT Co-op specializing in Networking. The role will apply classroom knowledge to hands-on network and computer support tasks, with progressive responsibility during the co-op term.

Responsibilities include identifying and fixing hardware and network issues, supporting Windows 10 and Office, and collaborating with project teams on product development and improvements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, VB 6.0, C#, or VB.Net is a plus.
• Good writing skills and interpersonal skills.
• US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• The student will apply principles that he or she has learned in school to hands-on situations.
• The student will be responsible for accomplishing performance goals and will receive progressive responsibility throughout his/her co-op experience.
• Will identify and fix computer and network problems.
• Will attend and participate in daily departmental meeting.
• Will take ownership and responsibility for identified projects.
• Participate in project teams for some assigned projects.
• Work within specifications provided to meet project goals and objectives in a timely and accurate manner.
• Participate with peers, project team members, and other departments on new product development, product line extensions, and product enhancements.
• Will work on computers, printers, and the network; troubleshooting hardware issues and configuring computers.
• Will work on troubleshooting Windows 10 and Office; also printer repair and troubleshooting
