Job summary

Doosan Digital Innovation America, LLC in Bismarck, ND is seeking a co-op student to act as the primary interface to end-user computing services. You will work with End User Computing Analysts to resolve a variety of computing and network device problems.

You will join an eight-month internship referred to as a co-op, considered a true employee, with opportunities to learn Windows-based troubleshooting, PC hardware, and IT service management in a global company.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in MIS or Computer Science.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Commit to eight-month co-op term.
• Strong motivation, independence.
• Proficient with Windows-based software.
• Knowledge of Windows XP+ and Windows Server 2008+.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Work under pressure and manage workload.
• Ability to complete assigned activities and meet milestones.
• Ability to multi-task technical fast.
• Knowledge of client computing technologies and interworkings.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for all end-user platforms, including desktop/laptop platforms, desktop image and standardization, security and malware protection packages, desktop policies, and mobile computing/PDA standardization.
• Repairing PCs & peripheral equipment.
• Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve.
• May interact with network services, Datacenter services, or Application development to restore service or identify and correct the problem
• Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution in order to ensure customer satisfaction, eliminate downtime, and prevent cost overruns.
• Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems.
