DGS Office of External Affairs is seeking a Client Specialist in a hybrid environment to support the Michigan Department of Education and Center for Educational Performance and Information. Bachelor's degree with 21+ semester credits in computer science, IT, data communications, networking, or related field.
Three years of professional IT Infrastructure or Programmer/Analyst experience (or equivalent combinations).
Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to prepare clear documentation.
Team-oriented mindset with ability to establish and maintain effective client and cross-functional relationships.
Problem-solving capability with focus on timely issue resolution and optimum solutions.

Responsibilities

Triages and resolves IT issues for clients.
Facilitates escalations according to department policies.
