Job summary

The State of Michigan seeks an IT Manager to lead the DTMB Agency Services team supporting the Michigan Department of Education. You will plan, direct, and coordinate unit activities, ensuring goals are met within budgets and timelines, while collaborating with multiple departments and IT systems.

You must be a strong communicator, motivate staff, and uphold accountability in a diverse, team‑oriented environment. Hybrid work with on-site Lansing presence is available.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate unit activities to meet objectives within priorities, time limits, and budgets.
• Support Michigan Department of Education offices and several IT systems (GEMS/MARS, MiND, SAMS, TVS, OFMCore, SBIS).
• Operate in a hybrid work setup with two days on-site and three days remote per week.
