Job Summary:

The IT Business Relationship Manager acts as a liaison to bridge the IT organization and business operations. This position advocates for the business to ensure IT solutions deliver value, meet process needs, and are prioritized for organizational success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic partner to understand business needs and identify IT-driven opportunities.
• Act as a liaison between IT and business units to foster relationships and collaboration.
• Connect stakeholders with technical SMEs, leveraging IT solutions and industry best practices.
• Participate in meetings to identify process improvements.
• Co-develop and maintain a 1, 3, and 5-year IT-business roadmap, including M&A considerations.
• Lead early-stage engagement in initiatives, defining scope and objectives.
• Promote user adoption and business process ownership through Change Management.
• Partner in planning and leading Quarterly IT Review meetings with leadership.
• Identify and promote value opportunities to optimize costs and maximize technology investments.
• Maintain strategic partnerships via the Business Partner Network.
• Communicate project updates emphasizing business impact and transparency.
• Streamline project intake processes.
• Drive business readiness for transformations, facilitating engagement and impact assessments.
• Support Portfolio and Project Management with best practices and templates.
• Partner with Enterprise and IT architects to align Business Architecture with Enterprise Architecture.
• Advocate for business capabilities, process optimization, and technology enablement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with SAP, including large-scale implementation projects; other ERP experience is also relevant.
• Understanding of manufacturing business functional areas and data impact.
• Experience in business process management initiatives and IT/Business partnerships, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment with variant configuration.

• Excellent analytical skills for complex requirements.
• Strong understanding of project methodologies.
• Effective collaboration across geographical and expertise boundaries.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Effective communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.

Physical Demands:

Standard office environment; may occasionally need to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, etc.

Travel:

Expected travel up to 15% to other Woodgrain locations.
