About The Role

Location: Remote (Full-time)

What You’ll Get To Do
  • Engage in business development activities and solicit new business; customer acquisition through sales of bank products and services.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services.
  • Seek out new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media.
  • Create marketing strategies to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct daily meetings with the sales team and review previous day’s activities to plan ahead.
  • Manage and maintain current business relationships.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Participate in market storms, community fairs, and cluster marketing events like trade fairs.
  • Implement best practices to meet customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve results.
  • Gather customer feedback and share with internal teams.
  • Understand customer financial needs and objectives.
  • Recommend appropriate financial products or services.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
  • Minimum 4-5 years of in-depth sales experience, preferably in banking.
  • Strong understanding of the local financial services industry.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Tertiary education from a recognized institution.
  • Location: Jigawa, Nigeria.
