Job summary

The South Carolina Public Employee Benefit Authority (PEBA) is seeking a Business Analyst to support internal stakeholders in evaluating and developing efficient business models and systems.

Under supervision, you will translate business needs into requirements, document processes, and help test and implement changes. A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of business analysis experience are required, with strong communication and project management exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management science, computer science, or related field.
• At least three years’ experience in business process analysis and improvement.
• Exposure to project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate business needs into functional requirements and technical specifications aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Serve as liaison for business units, technology teams and support teams to ensure delivery of required specifications.
• Identify and document gaps in current processes and support gap analysis.
• Lead testing and validation of changes in operational systems with clear test plans and scripts.
• Prepare users for change with process documentation and training materials.
• Support performance metric development and reporting and ensure alignment with business goals.
