Job summary

CLA is seeking an experienced Manager of IT Business Analysts to join our Information Technology team in Madison, WI. You will lead a team that translates business requirements into design elements and ensure high-quality specifications for new software projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, adherence to SDLC standards, and mentoring analysts to grow skills. Strong analytical and communication abilities are essential, with a background in BPMN, Agile, and project tooling.

Qualifications

8 years relevant experience required; Planning, facilitating, documenting, and managing business, functional and technical requirements.
Bachelor's degree or a combination of relevant experience and training may be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

Manage a team responsible for converting business requirements into design elements and configurations for the product, offering comprehensive specifications and usage scenarios.
Oversee the delivery of high-quality functional specifications, designs, mock-ups, wireframes, business process maps, and accompanying documentation for new development projects or amendments to existing software tasks.
Document current business processes (As-Is) and envisages future states (To-Be), along with associated systems and applications.
Partner with stakeholders about their plans to ensure successful outcomes.
Review suggestions of system and process improvements to enhance user efficiency, customer service quality, data accuracy, and comprehensiveness.
Lead sessions for eliciting requirements involving both business and IT staff, merging various technological disciplines to address issues.
Ensure all processes and documentation conform to industry standards and typical software development life cycles.
Collaborate with external vendors to define objectives precisely and ensure projects adhere to budget, scope and time constraints.
Comprehends fundamental systems, applications, and technical frameworks; perform data analyses to detect data quality discrepancies and share resolutions with the team.
Facilitate collaboration of team with technical personnel through design, coding, testing, and implementation phases to ensure clarity of requirements.
Partner with Quality Assurance Analysts to outline and carry out testing strategies for functional, integration, and regression tests for new features, releases, upgrades, and regulatory changes.
