The Redding Rancheria is seeking a Computer Technician to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. The role installs, diagnoses, repairs, maintains, and upgrades hardware while ensuring workstation performance.

This person also assists with telecommunications and Audio Visual systems. Essential duties include end-user support, IT/AV inventory management, preventive maintenance, warranty registration, and staff training in software, hardware, and audiovisual

Qualifications

• 4 years related IT experience in a business environment.
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science preferred.
• CompTIA A+ Certification required or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Provide end-user IT support via phone, email, and on-site.
• Maintain IT and AV hardware, document inventory and monthly reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance on computers, printers, and peripherals.
• Register software/hardware for warranty purposes.
• Respond to IT/AV trouble calls promptly with limited supervision.
• Train staff in software, hardware, and audiovisual equipment operation.
• Assist in installing network, power, AV, and phone cabling.
• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot workstations and networking devices.
• Support networking projects and new technology installations.
• Assist long-term hardware capacity planning.
