United Church Homes, Inc. is seeking an IT Technician to maintain IT assets across long-term care, affordable housing, and other communities. You will provide end-user support, hardware setup, software installation, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth operations.

The role covers network hardware, routine maintenance, inventory, and collaboration with contracted technicians. A valid driver's license and ability to travel between sites are preferred.

Formación

• Associate degree (two-year college or technical school) or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) or more years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems and various types of applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Workday, PointClickCare).
• Additional IT training helpful; must obtain and maintain mandatory state/federal requirements and certifications; valid driver's license and ability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to end-users, including hardware setup, software installation, training and troubleshooting.
• Provide hardware and cabling support for network equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment/software.
• Maintain computer/network inventory and assist contracted service personnel as needed.
• Participate in on-call phone line weekly rotation with other IT technicians.
• Communicate with IT Services regarding budget requirements for equipment/software.
