Job summary

Palm Beach State College, Florida's first public community college, invites applications for a Client Technology Specialist to support IT Client Support Services. You will install and set up multimedia and AV equipment, assist instructors, and troubleshoot hardware and software, with opportunities to travel to off-campus sites.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with training, at least one year of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training.
• At least one year of related experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, PC fundamentals, networking, PA and AV systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment installations including multimedia and AV technology.
• Set up computers and multimedia equipment for presentations.
• Analyze technical problems and repair equipment.
• Provide timely updates on service requests.
• Escalate inquiries as needed.
• Install wiring for CCTV, AV, and displays.
• Support departments and off-site locations, may require travel.
• Operate in an on-call capacity for hardware/software/network issues.
