Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field.
• MBA or formal courses in Information Systems or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of Information Technology experience; transit experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly, write and interpret documents with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on IT procedures and strategies with focus on cybersecurity and risk management.
• Coordinate with departments to identify technology needs, evaluate cost‑effective solutions, and communicate recommendations.
• Communicate with technology vendors and IT professionals at peer agencies.
• Supervise, coordinate and evaluate staff performance; identify training needs.
• Assist with procurement activities: RFPs, RFQs, IFBs and related documents.
• Serve on the Technology Advisory Committee and aid in planning and budgeting.
• Act as Acting Information Technology Manager when needed; lead projects to timely, cost‑effective delivery.
• Develop training materials and ensure proper implementation of solutions.
