Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) in Oklahoma City seeks an IT Asset Supervisor to lead the IT asset management team. You will supervise staff, enforce ITAM policies, and coordinate with IT leadership to optimize technology spend and asset utilization.
Strong ServiceNow ITAM/ITSM experience and ITIL knowledge are preferred. This is a full-time position with generous leave and comprehensive benefits.

Full-time 40-hour work weeks. Supports the Information Services Division. Salary is up to $75,000 based on education and experience.
Provide direct supervision to IT asset management staff, including work assignment, prioritization, and daily operational guidance. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build technical skills, process knowledge, and professional growth. Monitor employee performance, provide regular feedback, and support performance management processes. Ensure adequate staffing coverage, workload balance, and timely completion of assigned tasks. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and accountable team culture. Support onboarding and training of new staff and cross-training within the team.
Oversee day-to-day IT asset management activities, including software and hardware lifecycle tracking. Ensure consistent application of ITAM policies, procedures, and standards by team members. Review team work products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Identify operational risks, issues, or gaps and elevate or address them appropriately. Serve as the first point of escalation for IT asset-related issues or concerns.
Work with IT leadership to support initiatives aimed at optimizing technology spend and improving asset utilization. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support technology purchasing standards and asset governance. Act as a liaison between ITAM staff and internal customers to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues. Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the IT asset management function.
Oversee the use and data integrity of the enterprise ITAM tool (ServiceNow). Coordinate enhancements, updates, and process improvements related to ITAM systems and workflows. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of asset metrics, compliance status, and operational performance. Support audits, contract compliance reviews, and reporting related to software licenses, warranties, and service agreements.
Ensure staff and stakeholders understand ITAM standards, policies, and processes. Lead or coordinate training efforts to improve awareness and adoption of asset management practices. Perform other duties as assigned.
Work is typically performed in an office setting with a climate-controlled setting and exposure to moderate noise level. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computer and phones. Applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position. Occasional travel may be required.
