**As an IT Asset Supervisor with OMES you will enjoy:*** Generous leave including 15 days of vacation, 15 days of sick leave and 11 paid holidays annually.* A comprehensive Benefit Package with a generous benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.**Job Details*** Full-time 40-hour work weeks.* Supports the Information Services Division.* Salary is up to $75,000 based on education and experience.**Position Responsibilities****People Leadership & Supervision*** Provide direct supervision to IT asset management staff, including work assignment, prioritization, and daily operational guidance.* Coach, mentor, and develop team members to build technical skills, process knowledge, and professional growth.* Monitor employee performance, provide regular feedback, and support performance management processes.* Ensure adequate staffing coverage, workload balance, and timely completion of assigned tasks.* Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and accountable team culture.* Support onboarding and training of new staff and cross-training within the team.**Operational Oversight** * Oversee day-to-day IT asset management activities, including software and hardware lifecycle tracking.* Ensure consistent application of ITAM policies, procedures, and standards by team members.* Review team work products for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.* Identify operational risks, issues, or gaps and escalate or address them appropriately.* Serve as the first point of escalation for IT asset-related issues or concerns.**Collaboration & Support** * Work with IT leadership to support initiatives aimed at optimizing technology spend and improving asset utilization.* Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support technology purchasing standards and asset governance.* Act as a liaison between ITAM staff and internal customers to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues.* Promote best practices and continuous improvement within the IT asset management function.**Tools, Reporting & Compliance** * Oversee the use and data integrity of the enterprise ITAM tool (ServiceNow).* Coordinate enhancements, updates, and process improvements related to ITAM systems and workflows.* Ensure timely and accurate reporting of asset metrics, compliance status, and operational performance.* Support audits, contract compliance reviews, and reporting related to software licenses, warranties, and service agreements.**Training & Education** * Ensure staff and stakeholders understand ITAM standards, policies, and processes.* Lead or coordinate training efforts to improve awareness and adoption of asset management practices.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Education and Experience**Requirements include:* Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience **OR*** One year of experience for each year of education if no degree **OR*** Associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience **OR*** High School Diploma or GED and 9+ years of relevant experience**Valued Skills and Experience*** Demonstrated experience supervising or leading IT asset management staff or operational teams.* Strong people leadership skills, including coaching, feedback, and performance management.* Experience with ServiceNow ITAM and ITSM tools.* Software and hardware asset management experience.* Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.* Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.* Ability to balance hands-on work with supervisory responsibilities.* Relevant certifications such as ITILv3, CITAM, CSAM, or CHAMP.**Physical Demands and Work Environment*** Work is typically performed in an office setting with a climate-controlled setting and exposure to moderate noise level.* While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to talk, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.* This position requires long periods of sitting and daily use of computer and phones.* Applicants must be willing to perform all job-related travel associated with this position.* Occasional travel may be required.
