Job summary

Union College in Schenectady, NY seeks an IT Finance and Procurement Coordinator to lead IT procurement, vendor management, and asset lifecycle. You will manage quotes, renewals, licenses, and purchasing workflows while ensuring policy compliance and accuracy in TDx records.

You will collaborate with the CIO on budgeting and multi-year planning, coordinating with campus stakeholders to align technology purchases with standards and budgets in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an Associate’s degree with significant IT asset/procurement experience.
• Experience managing IT hardware/software assets across lifecycle including deployment and decommissioning.
• Experience maintaining procurement documentation with audit readiness.
• Ability to interpret purchasing policies, budget guidelines, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT procurement agent, managing quotes and vendor coordination.
• Maintain asset and software lifecycle records with accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee vendor renewals, license management, and contract tracking.
• Collaborate on IT budgeting and multi-year financial planning with the CIO.
