Job summary

SchoolsFirst Federal Credit Union is seeking an Asset Management Specialist to optimize the asset lifecycle for IT hardware and software across the enterprise. You will collaborate with multiple divisions to establish asset tracking procedures and oversee quality control from procurement to disposal.

The role requires applying ITAM principles, data manipulation skills, and experience with ServiceNow and Coupa to manage assets efficiently while reducing costs and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent years of experience required.
• 1-3 years of prior relevant experience required.
• ITAM (IT Asset Management) certification or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve the automation of the asset life cycle for IT hardware and software and other assets.
• Collaborate with divisions to develop procedures for tracking enterprise assets and oversee quality control.
• Support asset management life cycle from procurement to disposal.
• Manage acquisition, deployment, utilization, tracking, security, and disposition of IT and Enterprise assets.
• Develop, document, and manage IT asset and licensing management processes.
• Research and assist with implementation of asset management tools and processes.
• Monitor and coordinate maintenance of assets with business owners, including new purchases and retirements.
• Perform audits to identify data issues, end-of-life items, and usage anomalies.
• Reconcile asset records when discrepancies are found.
• Assist in developing asset standards and growing the Enterprise Asset Management Program.
• Assist with integration of asset management service into a mature business function.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure hardware/software compliancy.
• Develop procedures for tracking assets and end-of-life disposition.
• Assist technical teams with data integrity of asset management systems.
• Maintain the ServiceNow standard catalog.
• Minimize costs through standardization and tracking.
• Periodically evaluate processes and drive continuous improvement.
