Job summary

Bwpipelines is seeking an IT Asset & Procurement Specialist for their Houston, TX office. In this role, you will manage IT procurement, asset lifecycle management, and vendor relationships to ensure technology needs are met efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT procurement processes, experience with Oracle EBS, and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. This position plays a critical role in controlling IT spend and ensuring asset accountability.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of IT procurement processes, including vendor quotes, requisition tracking.
• Experience managing requisitions and invoices in Oracle EBS.
• Proven ability to manage the full asset lifecycle including deployment and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT procurement execution including purchase request intake and vendor coordination.
• Oversee invoice and expense management ensuring timely payments.
• Coordinate lifecycle management of IT assets including tagging, tracking, and retirement.
