Job summary

General Dynamics - IT in Pasadena, CA seeks an experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee hardware, software, licenses and other IT assets across the lifecycle from procurement to retirement within the NASA JPL program. You will ensure accurate inventory, cybersecurity and compliance, drive cost efficiency, and partner with engineers, operations and customers to align assets with mission requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years in IT asset management or related fields.
• Experience in NASA JPL or similar federal mission environments is preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware, software licensing, procurement and IT inventory processes.
• Ability to manage vendors and work across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Track full asset lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure asset security and compliance.
• Coordinate with IT operations, engineering and maintenance teams.
• Prepare reports on inventory, costs, utilization and lifecycle status.
• Engage with NASA customer and program partners to align requirements.
