Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Asset Manager to oversee hardware, software, licenses and other IT assets across the NASA enterprise program.

You will ensure accurate inventory, cost transparency, and compliance in a 24x7 environment, coordinating with operations, engineering and stakeholders to optimize utilization. The role requires 5+ years in asset management, experience in federal environments, and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in IT asset management or related field.
• Experience in NASA environments or comparable federal mission systems preferred.
• Knowledge of hardware, software licensing, procurement and IT inventory processes.
• Ability to manage vendors and work across multiple departments.
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Track full asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory and support cost transparency.
• Ensure compliance with NASA, NIST and federal IT standards.
• Prepare reports on inventory, costs, utilization and lifecycle status.
• Engage with NASA customer and program partners to understand requirements.
