Job summary

UTHealth Houston is seeking an IT Asset Management Administrator to maintain and reconcile the IT asset inventory across the organization. The role supports the Medical School Information Technology area, working with Windows and Mac devices.

You will image and configure computers, verify software installations, and securely wipe drives when equipment is returned for surplus or leasing vendor disposition. The position is on-site at the Texas Medical Center.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• High attention to detail.
• Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) preferred.
• CompTIA A+ preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate IT asset inventory through inventory life cycle using Central IT Inventory software.
• Imaging and configuring computers; ensure correct software and applications.
• Wipe drives and return hardware to surplus department or leasing vendor when returned.
• Train Desktop Support groups on ServiceNow Asset Management.
• Coordinate asset management with Clinical Technology and Desktop Support Groups.
