Job summary

Recovery Innovations is seeking an Asset System Configuration Coordinator to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of company hardware and IT assets. You will procure, configure, deploy, recover, and decommission equipment, ensuring new hires have a ready-to-work setup on Day 1 and secure redeployment of assets from departures.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with asset management systems, imaging/config tools, and IT inventory processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of IT asset management experience.
• Experience with imaging/configuration tools and MDM platforms.
• Proficiency in asset management systems and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets in the asset management system (laptops, desktops, mobile devices, peripherals, network equipment).
• Coordinate procurement, tagging, assignment, and return of equipment; update statuses (in-stock, deployed, RMA, retired).
• Oversee decommissioning, including secure data destruction and compliant disposal.
• Build, image, and configure devices for new hires (OS, security agents, VPN, productivity suites).
• Provision user accounts and access per role requirements; collaborate with IT Ops/Identity.
• Assemble and ship welcome kits ensuring Day 1 readiness.
• Coordinate equipment retrieval for exits; verify returns and perform secure data wipe and redeployment.
• Administer asset management platforms and enforce data integrity; standardize images and baselines.
• Create SOPs, checklists, and knowledge articles for onboarding/offboarding.
• Conduct periodic audits and report metrics; collaborate with Finance, HR, Security on asset accountability.
• Train IT technicians and cross-functional partners on asset procedures.
