Job summary

San Bernardino County seeks an IT Asset Management Analyst to manage the lifecycle of county IT hardware from acquisition to disposal. The role ensures assets are tracked, deployed, and retired with accuracy and accountability.

The position collaborates with IT staff, procurement, warehouse, facilities, finance, security, and business units to maintain proper asset records and support audits and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT-related field as required.
• One year (Option 1) or two years (Option 2) of experience in IT asset management, IT service management, or technology operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lifecycle management of County IT hardware (acquisition, inventory, deployment, transfer, recovery, disposal).
• Maintain accurate IT asset records in asset management systems.
• Coordinate IT equipment requests, fulfillment, deployment, replacement, and recovery.
