Job summary

Amentum seeks a highly organized Asset Manager to oversee daily and long-term management of IT hardware. You will monitor assets for compliance, implement lifecycle-tracking practices, and conduct physical inventories. The role emphasizes accuracy, audits, and collaboration with customers to locate missing equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, multitasking skills, and experience with asset management tools like Jira or ServiceNow. TS/SCI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Experience with asset-management including hardware and software tracking.
• Experience issuing and receiving DD1149 hand receipts and license renewals.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement asset-tracking processes from requisition through retirement.
• Maintain asset-management repository with accurate, auditable data.
• Coordinate with customers to locate missing equipment.
• Create and maintain inventory schedules aligned with goals.
• Conduct physical inventories and document changes to network, location, and accounts.
• Perform quarterly and annual inventories as required.
