Job summary

Family Bridges, Inc. is seeking an IT Administrator to manage technology across our Oakland locations.

The role focuses on administering Microsoft 365, user accounts, devices, networks, backups, and security controls, while coordinating with vendors to ensure reliable IT operations. Qualified applicants will have at least two years of hands-on IT experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• At least two years of IT experience with system administration and end-user support.
• Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 administration, user accounts, networks, VPNs, endpoint security, and common business apps.
• Experience with system configuration, backups, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to users with varied proficiency.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple requests, and maintain confidentiality.
• Valid California Driver’s License and travel between agency sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely technical support to staff and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and VoIP issues.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, licensing, email, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Monitor networks, servers, backups, and security, escalating risks as needed.
• Document systems, issues, and resolutions; provide staff training as required.
• Coordinate with vendors for purchasing, renewals, and replacements.
• Travel among locations to deliver scheduled or urgent IT support.
