Job summary

SECO Ecoplastic America is seeking an IT Administrator to provide daily technical support for production and office operations. The role focuses on MES and production-floor IT equipment, employee computers, printers, scanners, and other devices while assisting with troubleshooting, asset management, and setup.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with IT-related training; prior IT support in manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; IT-related education or certification preferred.
• Experience in IT support, help desk, or manufacturing IT preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, hardware, printers, and network connectivity.
• MES, barcode scanner, and label printer experience is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine IT/MES checks in production areas and respond to issues.
• Provide first-level troubleshooting for MES, computers, printers, label printers, barcode scanners, PDAs, monitors.
• Assist employees with hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues.
• Set up computers, printers, and approved software for employees.
• Support meeting-room TVs, monitors, HDMI connections, and presentation equipment.
• Assist with IT equipment installation, relocation, and recovery.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including equipment assignment, location, condition, and spare equipment.
• Escalate advanced MES, network, system, or infrastructure issues to IT personnel.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to address IT issues affecting daily operations.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
