Job summary

ECOPLASTIC AMERICA CORP is seeking an IT professional to support our Register, GA manufacturing operations. The role involves planning, implementing and managing IT infrastructure, configuring systems, and delivering technical support to minimize downtime.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in IT or CS and strong skills in network configurations, system administration, and ERP/MES familiarity. English and Korean communication skills are valued.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure to support manufacturing.
• Configure software and hardware to meet automotive production needs.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues to minimize downtime.
• Monitor and maintain network performance, including VPNs and security.
• Install and manage software applications including ERP/MES systems.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and services.
• Document configurations and prepare IT performance reports.
• Provide training to staff on IT systems and best practices.

Department: Information Technology (IT)Location: Register, GAJob Type: FT ExemptShift: 8:00a - 5:00p ESTReports to: General Manager, ITKey Responsibilities:IT Infrastructure Setup: Assist in the planning, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations, to support manufacturing operations.System Configuration: Configure and optimize software and hardware systems to ensure they meet the needs of the company’s automotive manufacturing processes.Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for IT-related issues. Serve as the primary contact for resolving technical problems and ensuring minimal downtime.Network Management: Monitor and maintain network performance, including LAN, WAN, and VPN configurations. Ensure network security and data protection.Software Management: Install, configure, and manage software applications relevant to automotive manufacturing, including ERP and MES systems.Data Security: Implement and manage security protocols to protect sensitive company data and comply with industry regulations and standards.Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services.Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
