Job summary

ECOPLASTIC AMERICA CORP is seeking an IT Administrator to provide day-to-day technical support for production and office operations, including MES and shop-floor IT equipment, laptops, printers, scanners, and related devices. You will diagnose issues, set up hardware and software, and maintain asset inventory to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting MES and peripherals, documenting changes, and coordinating with Production and other departments to minimize downtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; IT-related education or certification preferred.
• Experience in IT support, help desk, desktop support, or manufacturing IT is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, computer hardware, printers, and network connectivity.
• MES, barcode scanner, and label printer experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level troubleshooting for MES, computers, printers, label printers, barcode scanners, PDAs, monitors, and related equipment.
• Set up computers, printers, approved software, and other IT equipment for employees.
• Support meeting-room TVs, monitors, HDMI connections, and presentation equipment.
• Assist with IT equipment installation, replacement, relocation, and recovery.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including equipment assignment, location, condition, and available spare equipment.
• Document IT issues, troubleshooting activities, and equipment changes.
• Escalate advanced MES, network, system, or infrastructure issues to the appropriate IT personnel.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to address IT issues affecting daily operations.
