Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to accelerate ISV customer adoption and architect scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS. You will engage with developers, engineers, and executives to translate business needs into technically robust designs.

You will work across the cross-functional AWS teams to drive adoption, publish technical content, and mentor customers through adoption journeys, ensuring outcomes that benefit both the customer and AWS.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains including software, cloud, and infrastructure.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers providing technical advocacy as they build on AWS.
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class AWS solutions.
• Understand customer business needs and prescribe how AWS technologies can help.
• Formulate strategies to drive AWS service adoption within customer platforms.
• Author technical publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concept.
• Build strong relationships with senior technical staff to enable cloud advocacy.
• Share best-practice knowledge across the AWS solutions architect community.
• Drive successful outcomes for AWS and customers through technical enablement.
