Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Level 3 to advise on secure configuration and operation of IT assets for national security programs. The role focuses on RMF documentation, security assessments, and coordinating with government customers and accrediting authorities.

You will lead risk management activities, maintain information security policies, and support a dynamic, fast-paced work environment while ensuring mission assurance and regulatory

Qualifications

• Familiarity with research and analysis
• Thorough understanding of network security principles and practices
• Experience with IT/IA/IM policies within IC/DoD
• Excellent communication and collaboration with government and contractors
• Knowledge of cross-functional integration of information systems into security environments

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient operational security posture for programs and information systems
• Information Security interface to government customer and Accrediting Authorities
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessments to support authorization and accreditation
• Prepare and review RMF documentation to include SSPs, ATO, RMR, SCTMs, POA&M, System Assessment Plans, and Continuous Monitoring Plans
• Support and track customer security authorization activities
• Conduct periodic reviews of IS policies, standards, and procedures
• Coordinate Security Assessments, tests, and reviews
• Process hardware/software requests
• Config management for information system security software, hardware, and firmware
• Ensure proper measures after incidents or vulnerabilities are discovered
