Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) Level 3 to guide IT security posture for national security programs in Chantilly, VA. The ISSO will interface with government customers and accrediting authorities, perform RMF activities, and maintain SSP/ATO documentation.

Ideal candidates have DoD/IC policy experience, strong communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. On-site with occasional travel, TS/SCI clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with network security principles and DoD/IC policies.
• Ability to translate technical information into plain English for stakeholders.
• Experience conducting RMF/SSP/ATO activities and security assessments.
• Active TS/SCI or ability to obtain within 6 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient operational security posture for programs and information systems.
• Serve as ISSO interface to government customers and accreditors.
• Perform vulnerability/risk assessments to support authorization.
• Prepare RMF documentation including SSPs, ATO packages, and PMMs.
• Coordinate security assessments, tests, and reviews with stakeholders.
• Ensure proper measures for incidents or vulnerabilities.
• Provide configuration management for security software and hardware.
