Job summary

LV8D Solutions LLC seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to provide security guidance and oversight for IT assets supporting national security space and intelligence missions. The role requires collaboration with government customers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure secure configuration and operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of network security principles and implementations.
• Experience applying IC/DoD IT/IA/IM policies and procedures.
• Ability to translate technical information into plain English for diverse stakeholders.
• Proven track record in risk management and RMF-based authorization processes.
• Experience with configuring and securing information systems across classifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an efficient operational security posture for programs and information systems.
• Interface with government customers and Accrediting Authorities on information security matters.
• Perform vulnerability and risk assessments to support authorization and accreditation.
• Prepare and review RMF documentation including SSPs, ATO packages, and related artifacts.
• Support and track customer security authorization activities.
• Coordinate IS assessments, tests, and reviews.
• Provide configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware.
