Job summary

FEDITC, LLC is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support designated DoD programs in the Warren MI area. The ISSM will lead the cybersecurity program, ensure compliance with DoD instructions, and coordinate ATO/ATC processes.

The role requires an active Secret clearance and US citizenship. The successful candidate will maintain security documentation, supervise ISSO guidance, and act as the primary cybersecurity advisor to the program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) experience or related role.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• DoD/Military Training: ISSM/ RMF related playlists and courses listed in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a repository for all organizational or system-level Cybersecurity related documentation.
• Monitor compliance with cybersecurity policy and review monitoring results.
• Coordinate cybersecurity inspections, tests, and remediation with affected parties.
• Implement IS security measures and report incidents to the AO; coordinate system-level responses to disclosures.
• Act as the primary cybersecurity technical advisor to the acquisition program for DoD IS and PIT systems.
• Report cybersecurity events or changes to AO and stakeholders; ensure secure configuration below system level.
