Job summary

Specialty Systems, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee cybersecurity for DoD systems at Joint Base MDL. You will lead a team of cybersecurity engineers, manage RMF activities, and ensure compliance with DoD standards to protect sensitive data.

The role requires strong RMF expertise, experience with DoD/NAVY programs, and the ability to coordinate with government officials and contractors. Relocation or onsite work at Lakehurst, NJ is involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of cybersecurity experience, incl. 5+ DoD/DoN work.
• Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant DoD cybersecurity experience.
• Military/DoD certifications and 15+ years in cybersecurity, IA, DoD accreditation allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a team of cybersecurity engineers and IA personnel.
• Lead RMF activities and prepare/maintain ATO packages.
• Review architectures to ensure cybersecurity requirements across life cycles.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, testing, remediation, and readiness reviews.
• Prepare cybersecurity status reports and briefings for leadership.
