Job summary

Specialty Systems, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to oversee cybersecurity activities for a DoD customer at Joint Base MDL. The role requires leading RMF efforts, preparing ATO packages, and ensuring compliance across system lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field with 10+ years cybersecurity experience, including 5+ years supporting DoD/DoN programs.
• Master’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Military service or technical certification route with 15+ years of cybersecurity/DoD experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for DoD, DoN, and DISA cybersecurity policies and compliance.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity strategies for networked systems.
• Lead RMF activities including accreditation and ATO packages.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments and cybersecurity readiness reviews.
• Prepare status reports, risk assessments, and executive briefings for leadership.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
